Queen Mercy
Saturday May 10, 2025 10:30am - 11:00am EDT
The Victorians were avid theatre-goers, and upper class citizens would often attend the Opera in groups. The Victorian era saw the reign of the “Opera diva." They would often perform with little-to-no rehearsal time, and usually center stage regardless of the show’s theme or direction. They were known for their extravagant gowns and jewels. Queen Mercy’s performance pays homage to the Victorian Opera diva, with a selection of songs ranging from early traditional music to a post-modern context.
